Bueman Senior High School inaugurates new board

The school has a proud history of academic excellence and dominance in sports and games

Bueman Senior High School, in the Buem Constituency, has inaugurated a new board of governors on Tuesday 2 May.

The member of parliament for the constituency, Kofi Iddie Adams, was represented by Johnson Tsyawo, a tutor at Jasikan College of Education and a constituency executive member of the National Democratic Congress.

Tsyawo gave an address on the importance of the board in the effective management of any school. They play a crucial role in providing the vision, mission, strategic direction and leadership to the school community.

He stated that the board has an oversight responsibility on key decisions in the school, thus, it is important to have members with diverse backgrounds.

The school has a proud history of academic excellence and dominance in sports and games. The new board is expected to work diligently to ensure that students receive quality education.

Strategies identified for the board’s consideration include student-centered approaches which prioritise tailored solutions to meet identified needs.

The board was urged to promote transparency and fairness in decision making and collaborate with relevant stakeholders promote quality education.

Adams pledged his support and commitment to the development school with the initiation of the “The Buem Project.”
