Visionary Norman Foundation feeds over 800 vulnerable people in Cape Coast

Visionary Norman Foundation has presented packs of essential goods to more than 800 vulnerable people, including children, in Cape Coast.
The items included a hot meal, drinking water, non-alcoholic beverages, uncooked rice and other consumable goods.
The initiative was led by Abraham Norman Nortey, CEO and founder of the foundation.
Norman said, “It is a significant initiative to combat food insecurity in Cape Coast, ‘The Feed the Street, Cape Coast Edition’ initiative distributed over 800 packs of essential items to vulnerable individuals across various locations.”
He added that the organisation’s commitment is to eradicate hunger, adding, “Our mission is rooted in inspiring lasting change and fostering community responsibility. We aspire to contribute to the global quest for Zero Hunger.”
Aside from the distribution, the team raised awareness about the pervasive issue of food insecurity.
“It stands as a beacon of hope, encouraging community members to actively participate in finding sustainable solutions to long-term hunger challenges,” Norman said.
The organisation, however, thanked supporters of the initiative with a promise to always use donors’ support for its intended purposes.
According to Norman, the team is preparing to visit the Volta rRgion for a similar exercise.
