Mustapha Ussif engages Saudi Arabia Sports Chief in Jeddah

The two Sports sector heads discussed issues of Capacity building, exchange programs for coaches and technical directors, partnerships with local teams, and also facilitating infrastructure and equipment support.

The Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal.

In a meeting on Monday in Jeddah, the two leaders in the sports sector of both countries looked at ways of strengthening their relationship in sports and youth development.

Ussif also touched on how Saudi Arabia can help in terms of capacity building, and exchange programs for coaches at all levels in Ghana.

His desire is also to see a strong partnership built between the two countries in facilitating infrastructure and equipment support.

The two leaders took to social media to express their delight at the meeting which both are looking at a positive collaboration in Sports and Youth Development.

“Yesterday, I engaged the Minister for Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H. E. @AbdulazizTF in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The meeting focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between  & in the area of sports and youth development.” Said Hon Ussif in a twitter post.

H. E. Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal also tweeted “I had the pleasure of meeting my brother, His Excellency, the Ghanaian Minister of Sports and Youth, Mustafa Youssef We discussed many aspects of joint cooperation to serve the future of sports in our two countries”
