I want a collaboration with Nigerian artist Flavour, says Amandzeba

Ghanaian highlife legend Amandzeba has said he is eyeing a collaboration with Nigerian artist Flavour, revealing that a friend is working on that to happen soon.

Speaking to Benjamin Offei-Addo on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Wednesday (9 August), the veteran musician said he has certain things in common with the Nigerian singer.

“I told Rabbi, one of my Nigerian colleagues, that I want to do a collaboration with Flavour,” Amandzeba said.

“It is not an impossibility at all, and you will see what I am talking about,” he added. “We are united in rhythm, and I don’t see why we don’t realise it.”

Touching on his popular song “Wogbe Jeke”, Amandzeba said he is yet to release a video for it after two decades because the tape got ruined.

“You know up till now, ‘Wogbe Jeke’ doesn’t have a video? I went to Israel for the recording and then when I came back, they lost the tape,” Amandzeba said.
