I’m now a grandfather, says Mahama
Speaking at the 13th graduation of the Accra Business School, Mahama said: "I am a grandfather, my son's wife had a baby on my birthday"
The former president John Mahama has said he is now a grandfather following the birth of his granddaughter, which coincided with his 64th birthday.
Speaking as the special guest at the 13th graduation of the Accra Business School on Saturday (2 December), Mahama said: “I am a grandfather, my son’s wife had a baby on my birthday.”
“So, I share the same birthday as my granddaughter, so thank you very much,” Mahama told the graduands.

Meanwhile, the former First Lady Lordina MahamaĀ has described her husband John Mahama as a dependable husband and an inspiring father as he celebrates his 64th birthday today (29 November).
In a Facebook post, Lordina expressed gratitude to God for blessing the former president with good health and a pure heart.
