Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Tems, Rema to perform at NBA All-Star weekend

On Wednesday, the NBA made the announcement via its social media pages. Burna Boy and Tems are both Grammy Award winners, and Rema has also received other honours

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that three Nigerian superstars, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema, will perform an Afrobeats-themed halftime show at the NBA All-Star Game 2023.

On Wednesday, the NBA made the announcement via its social media pages.

Burna Boy and Tems are both Grammy Award winners, and Rema has also received other honours.

The event will come off on 19 February at 8:30 p.m. ET at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City and air on TNT.

Following their performance, the NBA family will honour LeBron James for becoming the league’s all-time scoring leader.
