National Security warns of suspicious characters in Garu, Bunpurugu

A notice issued by the Ministry and copied to the Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana Police Service on Friday(3 June) said the group was sighted aboard motorbikes in the Garu District

The Ministry of National Security has notified the security agencies of suspicious movement of some group of persons at Garu, Bunpurugu and Nanpanduri in the North East Region.

A notice issued by the Ministry and copied to the Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana Police Service on Friday(3 June) said the group was sighted aboard motorbikes in the Garu District.

“Intelligence gathered indicated suspicious movement if a group of persons along a mountainous area that borders Bunkpurugu/ Nanpanduri District in the North East Region and Garu in the Upper East Region,” the notice said.
