NPP Bekwai PC Ralph Poku-Adusei attends thanksgiving service after election victory

Ralph Poku-Adusei was accompanied by his wife, children, NPP council members, patrons, executives, polling station coordinators and executives

Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate (PC) for Bekwai Constituency on Sunday 4 February 2024, attended a thanksgiving service at the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church at Bekwai in the Ashanti Region.

He was accompanied by his beautiful wife, his children, some NPP council members and patrons, executives, polling station coordinators and executives, party faithful, friends, and family members from both sides of the political divide.

The occasion was a joyous one as a special prayer was said for Ralph Poku-Adusei, his family, NPP executives & and sympathisers, and the campaign team for their victory during the just-ended NPP primaries and an ultimate victory in the 7 December 2024 Parliamentary and Presidential elections.

Rev Father Benjamin Kwakye in his sermon admonished Mr Poku-Adusei to live by example and remain committed and dedicated to the constituents of Bekwai.

He indicated that the ethos of the Catholic church and principles learned in his service as a mass servant during his Basic and Secondary school days should guide his political career to make him either the best or among the best in the country.

Refreshment

After the church service, Lawyer Ralph and his team paid a courtesy call to his uncle and the current occupant of the Kokofu stool, Barima Offe Okogyeasuo (Kokofu Manhene) after which a reception was held for about eight hundred (800) party faithful who accompanied Ralph Poku Adusei to the thanksgiving service.

In his remarks at the reception, Lawyer Ralph used the occasion to thank all present and those who could not make it for their prayers, support, and counsel every step of the way. He assured the gathering that, they should support him to clinch the ultimate victory on 7 December and he will live true to his promises to make the Bekwai constituency self-sufficient.

Benediction

Reminiscing his days as a Mass servant at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and upon a special request by the Reverend Father Benjamin Kwakye, Lawyer Ralph served as a Mass Servant in the evening’s Mass/Benediction service of the church. He wore his full regalia reminiscent of his days and went through the process to serve throughout the service.

This gesture from him surprised many attendees to the service which they remarked, as a sign of humility and dedication to the things of God. The congregants held special prayers for him for victory and protection before, during, and after the 7 December 2024 general elections.
