Nurse jailed six years for bathing husband with boiled water in Tamale

The convict poured the boiling water on the husband over his refusal to allow her to use his car which resulted in the husband sustaining severe burn injuries

A nurse at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Zeinab Muhammad Ali, has been sentenced to six years in prison with hard labour for bathing her husband with boiling water.

The convict poured the boiling water on the husband over his refusal to allow her to use his car which resulted in the husband sustaining severe burn injuries.

Zeinab was arrested and arraigned before the Tamale High Court presided by Justice Eric Ansah Ankomah.

Zeinab who is a mother of two was charged with causing harm.

The victim is currently on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) receiving treatment.
