Alan invites Kennedy Agyapong to join his “butterfly movement”

Mr Alan Kyerematen said Kennedy Agyapong is his brother and that his campaign message is similar to that of Mr Agyapong

Leader and founder of the “Movement for Change” (butterfly movement), Alan Kyerematen, has extended an open invitation to New Patriotic Party (NPP) member of Parliament for Assin North constituency in the Central Region and NPP presidential candidate hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, to abandon his ambition in the NPP and join his movement.

Speaking in an interview on Silver TV, Mr Kyerematen said Kennedy Agyapong is his brother and that his campaign message is similar to that of Mr Agyapong. To that end, he said a partnership with Kennedy Agyapong, will be the ticket to beat in the December 2024 general elections.

Mr Kyerematen resigned from the NPP on Monday 25 September 2023 and at a press conference to announce the said resignation, he disclosed the formation of his butterfly movement and his intention to contest the 2024 presidential elections as an independent candidate.
