Asaase launches Central Regional Business Excellence Awards

The Central Regional Business Excellence Awards have been set up to help businesses in the region push the boundaries of growth and excellence

The management of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd has launched the Central Regional Business Excellence Awards (CRBEA) at a dinner in Cape Coast to reward businesses flourishing in various fields in the region.

The colourful event was attended by businessmen and women, political and traditional leaders and many others.

The launch of the Central Regional Business Excellence Awards fulfils a pledge made by Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, the chairman of the board of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd, during the official opening of Asaase 100.3 Cape Coast, to work with businesses in the Central Region to change the narrative about the region.

The maiden edition of the Central Regional Business Excellence Awards is expected to take place in 2023 and will look to reward deserving businesses and leaders in the Central Region who are pushing the boundaries of growth and excellence.

ā€œEach year, beginning from 2023, the board of the CRBEA will oversee the award of business excellence to companies and entities in 20 different categories. This includes manufacturing/retail, bank/insurance, health care, herbal care services, tourism, educational services, restaurant/hotel, petrochemical services, 1D1F, pharmaceuticals, and the overall Business Personality of the Year,ā€ said James Kojo Kutin, the station manager of Asaase 100.3 Cape Coast.

The chairman of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd, Gabby Otchere-Darko, delivered an address in which he reiterated the promise he made at the launch of Asaase 100.3 Cape Coast in June this year: that the Asaase brand is in the Central Region to help businesses grow.

ā€œWe are here to help promote the culture and the great city of Cape Coast. We actually want to ensure we thrive in Cape Coast and other parts of the country,ā€ he said.

The Central Regional Minister, Justina Marigold Assan, commended the management of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd for ensuring quality content delivery and helping the Central Regional Co-ordinating Council to transform the region.

Assan pledged the support of her team to the media company in developing the region.

ā€œThis is the time to support Asaase Radio to get it done and we are so grateful to them for putting this together. You can count on the support of the Central Regional Co-ordinating Council.

ā€œWe are going to partner with you. This, I see it as a beautiful marriage beginning today (10 November) and we are going to cement it,ā€ Assan said.
