Asaase Radio’s Aboagye-Wiafe nominated for Energy Media Personality of the Year

Emmanuel Aboagye-Wiafe, the host of Energy 101 on Asaase 99.5 Accra, has once again been nominated for the Energy Media Personality of the Year at the 2024 Think Energy SDGs Awards.
The seasoned broadcast journalist has been nominated for his wealth of knowledge in the energy sector and how he uses his weekly show on Asaase 99.5 Accra to breakdown energy-related issues in Ghana and beyond.
Aboagye-Wiafe won the Energy Media Personality of the Year award for the first time at the 2023 Think Energy SDGs Awards held in Accra on Friday (30 June).
Speaking to Asaase 99.5 Accra’s Winifred Lartey, he said, “It’s great to be nominated for the second time for the SDG Awards. I guess it promises to be a very keen contest, looking at the big weights in the competition.”
“But I’m hopeful that looking behind at how significantly we have contributed to meeting the SDG goals and for the fact Energy 101 continues to be your favorite one-stop shop for all energy news updates on radio, and with the help of God, Asaase Radio will be victorious.”
This year’s most anticipated SDG awards now comes off from the 11 July to 13 July 2024 at the Volta Hotel in Akosombo.
The event promises to be very insightful with various stakeholders and personalities gracing the occasion.
