Caprice: Armed robbers attack and shoot woman

Armed robbers on Friday attacked and shot a woman at Caprice in Accra, the police said in a statement.

The woman, according to the police, is in stable condition and is “currently receiving medical attention.”

The police are yet to establish the cause of the attack.

In a terse statement, the police said a special intelligence and operations teams have been deployed to trace and arrest the suspects.

“The police are pursuing a gang of armed robbers who attacked and shot a woman at Caprice in Accra today, 9 December 2022.

“Special intelligence and operations teams have been deployed to trace and arrest the suspects involved; we will surely get them arrested to face justice,” the statement said.

“The victim is in stable condition and receiving medical attention,” the statement said.
