Christoper Adu Boahen: Son of NPP stalwart to be buried 25 April

He was attacked and robbed at his home in East Legon, a suburb of the capital in the Greater Accra Region last month

Dr Christopher Adu Boahen, son of historian and New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart Professor Albert Adu Boahen, will be buried on Thursday (25 April) after burial and memorial service at the Accra Ridge Church.

He was attacked and robbed at his home in East Legon, a suburb of the capital in the Greater Accra Region last month.

The robber is said to have broken into his house, ransacked his home, and killed him in the process.

Mark Forson, the houseboy of the deceased who was subsequently arrested in connection with the murder is currently standing trial.

Dr Christopher Adu Boahen was a brother of Charles Adu Boahen, who served both as a deputy minister for finance and then as minister of state at the Ministry of Finance in the Akufo-Addo government. Charles Adu Boahen resigned from government in November 2022.
