COVID-19: Ghana’s active cases drop below 400

The death toll hits 1,433 after four additional fatalities were recorded across the country, an update on the GHS COVID-19 dashboard reveals.

Latest figures from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) indicate that the country’s COVID-19 active cases have dropped below 358.

The death toll hits 1,433 after four additional fatalities were recorded across the country, an update on the GHS COVID-19 dashboard reveals.

As at 9 February 2022, Ghana’s total confirmed cases stand at 158,220. Currently, health officials have recorded 156,429 recoveries.

So far, 5 persons are in severe condition whiles 3 remain critical, according to GHS. Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 7,257 with 7,141 recoveries.
