D-Black starts online radio station to promote Ghana music

The rapper says he wants to make Ghana music more accessible to Ghanaians living outside through online applications

Ghanaian rapper D-Black has made public his intentions of establishing an online radio station and platform to promote and market solely Ghanaian music to Ghana nationals living abroad.

Speaking on the Rush Hour show with Elvis Crystal, D-Black explained that Nigerian music is performing better globally because of local online platforms that make Nigerian music accessible to Nigerians living outside the country and Africa.

He said: “Nigerian music is doing well because they have a whole lot of platforms that sell their music to Nigerians living outside and the advantage of such move is their music taking over all online charts including Ghanaian charts.”

“So my online radio would make available Ghanaian music to Ghanaian audience outside Ghana,” D-Black said on Asaase Radio.
