Eight-day “dumsor” schedule has ended, says ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says the interim power outage plan has officially ended

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says the eight-day power outage which kicked off 10 May to enable the power distributor to undertake construction works at the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point has ended.

“… The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) wishes to inform the general public especially the affected customers that the programme has ended today Tuesday, 18 May 2021 at 6:00 am” a statement from the ECG has said.

According to the ECG, the programme forms part of efforts to improve power supply reliability and system voltages.
