Election 2020: Police foil attack on NPP supporters at Techiman

An eyewitness said the  alleged NDC thugs came to the Agyeiwaa Hotel yard to harass NPP supporters who were purportedly bused from Kumasi to vote

Police have managed to foil an attack on some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) by some persons believed to be thugs from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Techiman in the Bono East Region.

Reports indicate they (NPP supporters) had finished voting but decided to stay at the hotel and celebrate with their supported PC, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah if he wins the election.

The supposed NDC thugs according to the eyewitness came in with a vehicle containing the NDC Parliamentary candidate, Christopher Baasongti Beyere’s sticker on it.

It took the intervention of gunshots from the police and military to disperse the alleged NDC thugs who had stormed the hotel.
