Fans congratulate Mzbel on baby bump

Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, best known as Mzbel over the weekend shared some breathtaking photos of her dressed in a beautiful attire

Ghanaians on social media have congratulated hiplife singer Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, best known in music circles as Mzbel after fans spotted her baby bump in new photos.

Mzbel over the weekend shared some breathtaking photos of her dressed in a beautiful attire.

Captioning the photos, she wrote, “An adventure is about to begin.”

Fans who noticed her baby bump in the first slide took to her comment section to drop congratulatory messages.

Early birth

Meanwhile, Mzbel, has said that people should start having children by the age of 22.

She also recommended a maximum of six children if people can afford them and three or four “if you are not financially sound”.

The famed artist made these statements in an interview on Asaase Radio with the host of Between HoursNaa Ashorkor on  Thursday 14  January 2021.

In a clip she released about a month ago, Mzbel shared the story of how a boy she “picked” from the streets of James Town and raised for 16 years had just left her at his birth mother’s demand.

From that experience, which Mzbel describes as more than “heartbreak”, the singer and philanthropist said she “regrets not making babies” when she had someone who “was ready to do everything” for her if she would settle down with him and make babies.

“I felt like, ‘Babies – no. I have plenty kids from James Town I can go and get any time. I have to get pregnant, nine months, going to hospital – no. It will distract my career,’ and my career at that point meant everything to me …” she said.

You can’t change DNA

The “I’m in Love” hitmaker added that having children of your own is “riches”. “I have everything every young woman or man my age will wish to have,“ she said, “but I’m not happy. I have only one child.

“Everybody must have their own children and you must have plenty, maximum like six,” she told Naa Ashorkor. “They become your friends, they become your family.

“And you have to raise them well. You have to raise them the way you feel, otherwise if you don’t raise them well, too, they grow up and become your enemies.”

People should have children, she said, because, “There is something about DNA that nobody can change.”
