Five (5) Reasons Why Getting Fired Can Be Critical To Your Success

It is important that we all come to the understanding that success in life should never be limited to confines of a job loss. Success is rooted in purpose for life which transcends the boundaries of any organisation. In fact, getting fired from your job can be one of the best things to happen to any man on earth. Here are four reasons why getting fired can become very critical to a successful life.

1.Opportunity for Promotion
It is amazing the number of people who were literally cajoled into their destinies by a crisis in life. In as much as getting fired from your job may be a crisis, we must always focus on the blessings that may be packaged as a job loss. Only a few years ago, what was a crisis for the black community in US became a destiny changer for Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. Kwame Nkrumah was born as result of a crisis in Ghana. The list is endless,-talk about Kofi Amoabeng, Founder of UT Bank in Ghana who failed at so many businesses but today owns of one of the biggest banks in the country. Are you facing the crisis of a job loss? Perhaps it is time to Step Up and Take Charge. It is time to be the master of your own business.

2.Opportunity to Add Value to Yourself
As painful as it may be to stomach the difficulties associated with a job loss, this can be the clarion call that you need to add some value to your professional life. You may take a short program during this period, learn a trade or master a craft. Those who have so mastered their craft never get fired for non-performance. If you do not wish to be fired from the next job for not being good enough, then, getting fired in the first place should be treated as a blessing in disguise. Use the opportunity to become a better employee than you were on your last job.

3.An opportunity for Time-Out
Basketball teams call for time-outs during the game to assess their tactics, recuperate, make a few adjustments and changes and finally get back on the court to winning the game. Football games also go on breaks for similar reasons. Everyone needs a break at a moment in life to reflect, assess, and review what they have been doing over a period of time. Getting fired from your job can actually be an opportunity to undergo a critical review of your professional career. This can then offer new perspectives, ideas and better ways of approaching assignments. This can be one of the best moments in your life if you really make good use of it.

4.An Opportunity to Challenge Yourself
Getting fired from your job can have a devastating consequence that may either permanently damage the spirit of a man or set him up for a bigger come back. Being successful in life has little to do with the opinions expressed in a dismissal letter handed to you but more to do with challenging yourself and rising above all the limitations society places on you. Success in life is never in relation to any other person but rising to be your best and being all that you can be in life. A dismissal letter should serve as the rebirth of a man, whose life’s story will offer inspiration and comfort to many.
Become the man you were meant to be!!!!

5.An Opportunity Try New Things
Life was never meant to end once you part ways with a company. There is more to life than a one page dismissal letter. What should become an excuse to sit all day in your sofa cursing life should become an inspiration to step out and try new things. Many in life limit themselves to the 20 square foot area they call job and become disoriented when an opportunity is handed them to explore the whole world by leaving the organisation (Fired). The world is very big, stop crying and try new things. The door to success is always open as long as there is breath in you. Get out there and make good use of your life. Step out and enjoy life.
