Former CJ Anin-Yeboah chairs KNUST governing council

He succeeds Nana Effah Appenteng, Omanhene of the Bompata Traditional Area, whose tenure ended in 2023

Former Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, has assumed the chairmanship of the newly established governing council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Asaase News has learned.

He succeeds Nana Effah Appenteng, Omanhene of the Bompata Traditional Area, whose tenure ended in 2023.

The council comprises distinguished individuals including Prof Mrs Rita Akosua Dickson, the vice-chancellor of KNUST, Kofi Karikari, Dr Abena Oforiwaa Ampomah, Prof Ernest Owusu Dapaa, Prof Samuel Asare-Nkansah, and Prof Eric K K Abavare.

Additionally, Dr Daniel Opoku, Abubakr Zakaria, Michael Ayuni, Mark Kakraba-Ampeh, Kofi Adusei, Yvonne Adobea, Andrews Kwasi Boateng, Prof Ellis Owusu-Dabo, Zakaria Yeboah and Johnson Owusu complete the council’s membership roster.
