Ghana’s Caveman Watches eyes global penetration, says CEO Dzamefe

Appearing on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Thursday (7 December), Dzamefe says Caveman Watches is already making inroads in countries such as US, UK and UAE

Anthony Dzamefe, the CEO and founder of Caveman Watches, a globally acclaimed Ghanaian bespoke timepiece maker has said his outfit has put in place measures to break into the international market from next year.

Dzamefe went from hawking replica watches on the streets of Accra to building his own brand of timepieces.

Appearing on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Thursday (7 December), Dzamefe said Caveman Watches is already making inroads in countries such as US, UK and UAE.

“What we are building is a generational brand,” he said, adding that, “I will only consider this brand successful after I die and the brand is still rolling perfectly, transcending generations, so the whole world is the goal.”

“We have started poking other markets, especially the US, UK and UAE markets and from next year we have set up structures to play a very significant role in these markets.

“Caveman has been five years and right after that we are rolling our sleeves. I have done it for five years at the experiment stage, knowing what work and what doesn’t work. Now we have set up our foundation and we are rolling up our sleeves and jumping into the deep waters,” Dzamefe said.
