Medeama hire David Duncan as head coach

...to be assisted by Umar Rabi

Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club have appointed David Duncan as new head coach, sources have told Asaase Sports.

The former Black Stars assistant coach has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for a further year.

Duncan will be assisted by Umar Rabi who assumed leadership of the technical team following the exit of Ignatius Osei-Fosu last year.

David Duncan has previously coached Sekondi Hasaacas,  Accra Great Olympics, Ashantigold S.C, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak. Outside Ghana, David Duncan coached South African PSL side, Free State Stars.

Asaase Sports understands Duncan has already started training with the team and will be in the dug-out when Medeama play Legon Cities on the opening weekend of the betPawa Premier League.
