North East Region NDC: 22 aspirants file nominations to contest in parliamentary primaries

The NDC in the North East Region currently have two sitting MPs, and they are, Bunkpurugu/Nakpanduri and the Nalerigu/Gambaga constituencies.

After the closed of nominations for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries on (22/03/2023), 22 aspirants in all the six constituencies in the North East Region have filed to contest the primaries in their respective constituencies.

The NDC in the North East Region currently have two sitting MPs, and they are, Bunkpurugu/Nakpanduri and the Nalerigu/Gambaga constituencies.

Abednego Bandim as MP for Bunkpurugu/Nakpanduri constituency and Alhaji Seidu Baba Yussif as MP for Nalerigu/Gambaga constituency.

At the close of nominations, these are the constituencies and aspirants who have filed to contest parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC.

Walewale constituency

1. Saibu Hamisu
2. Jamaldeen Tonzua Seidu
3. Fuseini Musah
4. Abubakari Abdallah

Yagaba/Kubori constituency

1. Abu Iddrisu
2. Dr Mohammed Ali
3. Dr Azumah Shaibu Baani.
4. Musah Hamidu Sibri
5. Ibrahim Abdul-Rashid

Bunkpurugu constituency

1. Abednego Bandim
2. Jagong Tahidu
3. Alhassan lambongang
4. Ambrose Moisob

Yunyoo constituency

1. Naabu Joseph Bipoba
2. Bouri Samuel Poyari
3. Alhassan Sulemana

Chereponi constituency

1. Yakubu Seidu Kalanba
2. Alajor Seidu Alhassan
3. Alaza Labaran
4. Issifu Sulemana Frinjei

Nalerigu constituency

1. Alhaji Baba Issifu Seidu
2. Imoro Adam

Those are the aspirants in their respective constituencies who have successfully filed to contest in the NDC parliamentary primaries on May 2023.
