Celebrated Ghanaian actor, Adjetey Anang, on Saturday celebrated his 50th birthday in a grand style with the outdooring of a foundation and launch of his memoir has announced plans to release a book about his career soon.

Anang, popularly known as Pusher, also used the event at the Skybox Event Centre to officially outdoor his charitable health foundation.

The memoir chronicles Adjetey Anang’s journey to stardom, the impact, lessons, struggles, and sacrifices which have molded him into this man who is loved and adored by all.

It showcases the man behind the pusher character and the many loved and iconic characters which Adjetey Anang has portrayed over the years.

About Anang

Adjetey Anang born 8 July 1973 is a Ghanaian actor. He is also popularly known as “Pusher”, which was his screen name in the television series Things We Do for Love.

He attended Labone High School and studied Fine Arts at the University of Ghana. He also obtained a master’s in Dramatic Arts from Wits University in Johannesburg.

 

 

Some of the movies he has featured in include The Perfect Picture, A Sting in a Tale, Deadly Voyage, and a Dutch movie entitled Slavery.

He has also won awards including an Arts Critique and Review Association of Ghana (ACRAG) Talent Award and a Ghana Union of Theatre Societies (GUTS) Best Actor Award.

He is married to Elorm Anang.
