Stonebwoy will be on our next album, says Mojo Morgan

Reggae producer, songwriter, and member of Morgan Heritage, Mojo Morgan, is set to release his new single featuring Ghanaian reggae artiste Stonebwoy, on Friday (17 March).

Catching up with Mojo on the Asaase Breakfast show with Kwaku Nhyira-Addo on Thursday (16 March), he said, “Stonebwoy will be on our new album [that will be released] on 21 April. He featured in one of our singles.”

The song is titled ‘Who Dey Like you’ and he surprised Africa by featuring Bounty Killer, Cham and Stonebwoy in the song.

“Who dey like you, featuring Stonebwoy will be released on 17 March,” Mojo said in reference to the single being released on Friday. 

Winning a Grammy

Touching on the band’s latest feat in the industry, he said “the Grammy wasn’t part of the dream. So, it felt amazing that it happened.”

“The Grammy is about recognition from your peers, and it amazed us that we never received recognition for some of our works,” he added.

He advised other artistes to be students of music and continue learning.

“Never feel like you’ve achieved your best,” Mojo said. “Continue to always push to get better and better. I am a rapper and although I don’t always listen to rap music, I always pay attention to other artistes, like when Nas, Jay-Z and Kanye West dropped their albums.”
