Volta Region: Husband allegedly kills wife in Adaklu Tevikpo

It was reported that Ayew, the prime suspect earlier threatened to kill his wife during an argument in their home

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Adaklu District Police Command is investigating the death of a 40-year-old mother in a farming community, Adaklu Tevikpo.

A family member of the deceased, Philip Tetteh, claims that on Tuesday, 16 April 2024, the deceased, known as Maama, went to the farm with her teenage son,

But her lifeless body was later found on the same farm.

The teenager is assisting the CID in the investigation. According to available reports, the deceased had quarrels with her husband, Kwame Ayew few days before the incident.

It was reported that Ayew, the prime suspect earlier threatened to kill his wife during an argument in their home.

However, Ayew has reportedly been on the run for the past 24 hours since the incident occurred.

The family of the deceased is, therefore, appealing to the public to assist in the apprehension of Kwame Ayew, the prime suspect.

The deceased left behind nine children.
