West Mamprusi: MCE rallies assembly members to support Bawumia

Lucky made the appeal to the assembly members in his closing statements during the assembly's final general meeting for the year 2023

Issahak Arimeyaw Basintale Somo Lucky, the West Mamprusi municipal chief executive, has urged all the assembly persons to support Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia, to win the 2024 elections to bring about development in the area.

Lucky made the appeal to the assembly members in his closing statements during the assembly’s final general meeting for the year 2023 on Thursday (14 December).

He said the vice president would solve a lot of challenges facing the communities in the North East Region and Ghana at large when voted into power.

“My final comment on today’s general meeting is that I want to appeal to all the assembly members in West Mamprusi to support Alhjai Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 elections. He has done a lot for us,” he said.

“It feels proud to have someone coming from Walewale, or, for that matter, West Mamprusi as the president.

“Let’s pray that the president comes from Walewale in 2025 so that the developmental projects we are witnessing in our electoral areas continue, Insha Allah,” he added.

Present at the meeting were major stakeholders in the municipality, including personnel from the security services, representatives of the traditional rulers, representatives from GES, GHS, and other opinion leaders.
