The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has offered a financial reward of GHC20,000 for credible information leading to the arrest of suspects who allegedly killed one of its members over the weekend.
Richard Badombie was attacked and shot dead by armed robbers on Saturday on the Bole-Bamboi highway in the Savannah Region.
In a statement dated 28 May, the Ghana Police Service said that the victim was driving a Hyundai Accent saloon car with two other passengers on board, travelling from Accra to Jirapa, when the incident occurred.
A statement issued by the GBA on Monday (30 May 2022) called on the security agencies to intensify efforts to reduce the crime rate in Ghana.
