President Akufo-Addo has condemned the actions of some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who were seen in a viral video brandishing machetes around the office building of the NDC, presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, after a purported cleanup exercise on Thursday, 23 November 2023.
Addressing the Victory Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Adentan Fafraha, in Accra, during the valedictory church service for the outgoing Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Rt. Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, President Akufo-Addo said the actions of the NDC faithful will have no place before, during, or after the December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
President Akufo-Addo in his address, assured the congregation and by extension, all Ghanaians that his administration is working extremely hard in order to restore economic growth and stability as was the case before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in March 2020 and exacerbated by the geopolitical war birthed by the Russian invasion of her neighbor, Ukraine.
