Judicial service staff suspend strike

The court staff have been on strike for a week, accusing the government for not paying attention to their conditions of service

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has suspended its strike after a crunch meeting with the government on Monday (29 May).

Following the discussion, JUSAG has directed its members to resume work, starting Tuesday (30 May) for the next two weeks “to pave the way for engagement among parties in order to fast-track the consideration, approval and payment of the new salaries in the month of June 2023.”

The court staff have been on strike for a week, accusing the government for not paying attention to their conditions of service.
