GOIL donates to stutterers’ clinic project

The donation is to encourage parents of stutters to get their wards ready as the stutterers’ inclusion programme train comes to their communities

GOIL has donated GHC100, 000 towards the 5th anniversary celebration of the Stutterers’ Clinic Project.

This is to encourage parents of stutters to get their wards ready as the stutterers’ inclusion programme train comes to their communities.

The programme takes school pupils with such challenges through various speech rudiments and special educational models to help them integrate into and effectively participate in classroom activities, and build their confidence to pursue their aspirations.

The lead facilitator for the stutterers’ inclusion programme for mainstream schools (SCIPROMS), Barbara Afia Class-Peter who spoke to Asaase News after the donation exercise, expressed gratitude to GOIL.

The spokesperson of GOIL, Robert Kyere said their gesture forms part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) and it is their aim to always help the underprivileged.
