Kasoa murder case: Conduct forensics to prove my innocence, accused begs court

The second accused in the murder case brought before the Accra High Court has again denied his involvement in the case

The second accused in the Kasoa ritual murder case has again denied his involvement in the alleged murder of Ishmael Mensah Abdellah.

According to the second accused, he was named as an accomplice because Emelia Donkor and Kwame Nyarko (the parents of the first accused) asked him (the first accused) to blame him (second accused) since he spent the night at his (first accused house) before the murder.

He pleaded with the court to conduct a forensic on the evidence brought before it to confirm his innocence.

The second accused narrated to the court that he even called out the spirit of the deceased to kill him if he knew about his death.

Quizzed as to whether or not the first accused was his friend, as captured in his statement, he said they were not friends, denying that both had been close friends for thirteen years.

“I want to ask the first accused a question: if he said we have known each other for 13 years and the incident happened when he was 15, does that mean he knew me when he was two years old?”

The case has been adjourned to 12 February 2024 for continuation.
