The entire NPP-USA Massachusetts Chapter and its executives, under the leadership of Chairman Louis Amoako-Mensah, have congratulated H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for winning the just-ended primaries and becoming the presidential flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party.

The chapter is optimistic that Dr Bawumia will lead the party to a victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections to ‘break the 8’ and continue to create positive impacts in the lives of Ghanaians.

A statement issued by the chapter reads, “We are confident that this win is a deserving one given your servitude, hard work, and resilience.

“I, Chairman Louis Amoako-Mensah, and my entire Massachusetts Chapter executives pledge our unwavering support to ensuring that we execute the 2024 campaign in winning the election as well as breaking the 8”.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia garnered 118,210 votes, representing 61.47%, beating his main contender, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a Member of Parliament for Assin Central, who obtained 71,991 votes, representing 37.41%.

“Once again, we say congratulations. It is indeed possible,” the statement concluded.
