Ohwim: Pregnant mother and two children burnt to death

The victims reportedly got trapped in the inferno which started just before midnight on Monday (15 August)

A mother and her two children were killed after fire destroyed their three-bedroom house at Asore Nkwanta in the Ohwim Amanfrom electoral area in Kumasi.

The victims reportedly got trapped in the inferno which started just before midnight on Monday (15 August).

The assemblyman for the area, Erastus Ebo Boison confirmed the charred bodies of the deceased were discovered after firefighters battled the blaze. He also disclosed that the eldest child of the family was the sole survivor of the incident.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has started investigations into the suspected case of arson.
