Oti Region: Massive endorsement for Alan Kyerematen

The former trade and industry minister was in the Oti Region last week to canvass for votes ahead of the NPP internal polls for a presidential candidate

Alan Kyerematen, a presidential aspirant for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), got widespread support during his tour in the Oti Region.

Meeting with party delegates from Buem, Akan, Guan, and Biakoye constituencies at Bueman Senior High School last Wednesday, Kyerematen reiterated his campaign message of putting the executives on monthly salary when he gets the mandate to lead the party.

He said the move will help strengthen grassroots support for the party to better their lives and work for the country.

He also promised to ensure that under his tenure as president, two local contractors in every constituency will be empowered to see to the execution of local contacts rather than relying on expatriate construction firms all the time.

Kyerematen called on the delegates to make a wise choice on voting day because he is the only aspirant who can help the NPP to break the 8 in 2024.

Popularly known as “Alan Cash,” he called on the other aspirants to resort to fair play and avoid intemperate language in their campaign.

He also called for party unity ahead of the internal polls.
