Suhum: Twelve-year-old girl crushed to death by a speeding cargo truck

A 12-year-old girl has been crashed to death by a speeding cargo truck on the Suhum highway early this morning.
The deceased, identified as Amanda Teye Martey, was a class four pupil of New Town Presbyterian Basic School in Suhum.
Sources say Martey was on her way to the refuse dump when she was hit by a speeding cargo truck with registration number GN 1263-18.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Suhum Government hospital morgue for autopsy.
The police have opened investigations on the case. The cargo truck was carrying ginger from Ahafo Goaso to Accra.
