CAF Confederation Cup: Dreams FC record first win against Rivers United
John Antwi and Abdul Aziz got the goals for the Dade Boys to go second in Group C behind Club Africain who were 3-1 winners at Academia de Lobito
Dreams FC picked up their first three points in the group stage of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup with a 2-1 win over Nigeria’s Rivers United on Sunday.
John Antwi and Abdul Aziz got the goals for the Dade Boys to go second in Group C behind Club Africain who were 3-1 winners at Academia de Lobito earlier in the day.
Antwi grabbed the opening goal for Dreams in the 35th minute before  Abdul Aziz Issah added the second 15 minutes away from the full-time at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Nigerians pulled one back  in the dying minutes of the game.
Dreams will play Academia de Lobito  on Sunday, December 10 in Angola.
