Hearts of Oak win will lift Kotoko to fight for Premier League- David Ocloo

Asante Kotoko’s rejuvenation continued as Steven Mukwuala scored a brace in the second half to help the Porcupine Warriors come from a goal down to beat Hearts of Oak 3-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium

David Ocloo says Asante Kotoko’s comeback win over Hearts Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday will lift the club to fight for the title.

Asante Kotoko’s rejuvenation continued as Steven Mukwuala scored a brace in the second half to help the Porcupine Warriors come from a goal down to beat Hearts of Oak 3-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The result means Kotoko have won four of their last five games in the league and remains 7th in the table, after winning just two of their opening five games at the start of the season.

“It’s about consistency.- If you see we’ve been playing the same thing for some time now. We are getting the result, and I think this will lift us to fight for the title.”- said assistant coach Ocloo.

“It’s their (players) commitment. They are very committed, and there’s unity among them,”.

“We’ve been performing and we are keeping that consistency. I would like to thank the fans also for coming in to support us. We are grateful.” – he added.
