Management: Wendy Shay is responding to treatment after accident

The management of Ruff Town records has assured that all is well with Wendy Shay who is positively responding to treatment after her involvement in a car accident on the midnight of Sunday. (10 September) .

Since the accident, which is said to have happened on the stretch of the ACP Kwabenya road, fans of the Uber Driver hit-maker and colleagues have been expressing great concerns about her well-being.

In a statement signed by CEO of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman popularly known as Bullet and released today, September 11, the management has guaranteed her safety, indicating that she is responding well to medical treatment.

The statement reads: “We are pleased to announce that Wendy Shay has survived a fatal accident and is currently responding to treatment. The accident occurred on Sunday September 10, around 12 midnight at the ACP Kwabenya high road when a Tipper Truck hit the singer’s car from the back. The singer was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she received prompt medical attention.

“According to the latest medical reports, Wendy Shay is in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Rufftown records, family and friends would like to thank everyone for their prayers and for the outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers.

“We still ask for your prayers for Wendy Shay during these times(sic)”.
