Wife of Citi FM’s Bernard Avle is dead

Justine Avle died on 3 August 2022 after a short illness. Bernard Avle married Justine in 2011 and their 11-year-long marriage was blessed with four children

The wife of Bernard Avle, the general manager of Citi FM and host of the Citi Breakfast Show on Citi FM and Point of View Show on Citi TV, has died.

Justine Avle died in the evening of 3 August 2022 in hospital after a short illness.

Bernard Avle married Justine in 2011 and their 11-year-old marriage was blessed with five children.

Whenever he was heard talking about his wife on air, Avle referred to her as his biggest inspiration.

Bernard Koku Avle (also known as Bernardino Koku Avle) was born 20 May 1981. He is a Ghanaian media personality, broadcast journalist and public speaker.

He completed his basic education at the University of Ghana Primary School, Legon and went to Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, Legon for his secondary education.

Avle then obtained admission to the University of Ghana in Legon, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with distinction.

He also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Marketing from the University of Warwick in  Coventry, UK between 2008 and 2009.
