The member of parliament (MP) for Buem constituency, Kofi Adams, has supported five communities with 200 bags of cement towards community-assisted projects.
Adams said the move is in fulfilment of his promise to ensure equal distribution of development resources across his constituency.
Nsuta, Buem-Odumase and Kute received 50 bags of cement each towards the Nsutaman and Buem-Odumase health centre and Kute community centre projects respectively. New Baika received 30 bags and Bodada received 20 bags for the New Baika teachers’ quarters and Bodada Presby SHS projects respectively.
The MP urged the community leaders responsible for the projects to ensure that they use the cement for the intended purpose and complete all projects on schedule ensuring quality and safety.
Sibaway Abubakar, the assembly member for Odome electoral area in Jasikan, who represented Adams said the move will help achieve the MP’s sustainable development agenda to make Buem an enviable constituency in the Oti Region.
All five communities expressed appreciation to the MP for delivering on his promise.
