AlaptaWan releases visuals for “Africa Is Bleeding” single

The “Africa Is Bleeding” song, tells the negative impact of conflict on the growth of societies and appealed to Africans to choose peace always

Budding Ghanaian dancehall artiste, AlaptaWan, has released visuals of her hit single “Africa Is Bleeding” after months of unease wait.

“Africa Is Bleeding” which adds to AlaptaWan’s tall lists of hit songs, preaches peace and oneness while calling on African leaders to work assiduously to eliminate poverty and the hardship citizens are faced with.

The song further admonishes the current crop of political leaders on the African continent to learn from the legacies of Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela et al, whose sterling leaderships have made “Africa a better place”.

Call for peace and unity

AlaptaWan releases her song at a time the Upper East Region is bedevilled with a tribal conflict between the Kusaasis and the Mamprusis over the performance of burial rites for a late chief.

The age-long conflict, which authorities and the security services in the region are working around the clock to resolve, has claimed many lives and left others with life-threatening injuries.

In the “Africa Is Bleeding” song, AlaptaWan urges Africans, with particular emphasis on the youth, to “stand strong in unity, drop their guns and end the calamity”.

The songs tell the negative impact of conflict on the growth of societies and appealed to Africans to choose peace always.

AlaptaWan is signed to the Savanna Records music label. She has won several music awards and collaborated with many big names in the music fraternity in the region.

Production credit for “Africa Is Bleeding” goes to Savanna Records in-house producer, Kobby Beats.
