PLAYBACK: Parliament’s appointments committee vets ministerial appointees

President Akufo-Addo on Wednesday (14 February), submitted the list of nominated ministers and deputies to Parliament for consideration and approval

The appointments committee of Parliament is currently vetting newly nominated Ministers of State.

The minister of state-designate for finance, Abena Osei-Asare has been the first to be vetted on Wednesday (13 March).

President Akufo-Addo on Wednesday (14 February), submitted the list of nominated ministers and deputies to Parliament for consideration and approval.

Parliament upon receiving the list formed an appointment committee to vet the ministers of state.  Per the schedule, the committee will sit from 9am to 2pm on selected days.
